Blight & Substandard Study

Blight & Substandard studies are completed to determine if a community, or areas within a community, is eligible for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) based on the Nebraska Community Development Law.  An analysis must be completed prior to using TIF in either a new development or the redevelopment of an existing area.  At Miller & Associates, our staff has completed dozens of Blight & Substandard studies, helping communities achieve their residential and commercial development goals.
